Please join us at Common Press and Fisher Fine Arts Library as we welcome the Philadelphia Center for the Book Members and Friends Meeting. All are welcome to join us for this exploration of the treasures of Fisher on Thursday, April 25, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Starting in Fisher's Rare Books Room, explore the breadth of its collections, from historical rare books about landscape architecture to contemporary artist books to a Materials Library. We will then move to Common Press for a studio tour and to view recent letterpress projects. Come to be inspired, and learn about an upcoming opportunity for a Book Artist in Residence at the library – a collaboration of Philadelphia Center for the Book and Common Press. (Attendance is strongly encouraged for potential Artist-in-Residence applicants.)

The Fisher Fine Arts Library supports study, teaching and research in contemporary and historical aspects of art, architecture, city and regional planning, historic preservation, landscape architecture, studio art, and urban design. Text and image collections, in analog and digital form, have a global reach and concentrate on the arts of the western experience, Islam, South Asia and East Asia, from prehistory to the present.
