Building an Omeka Exhibit at the Fisher Fine Arts Library: Home

A guide for using Omeka and Neatline in the humanities

This LibGuide aims to assist those new to digital humanities, or simply first time users of the platform, navigate the creation of an Omeka exhibit. This guide has grown out of a project using the Centennial collection in the Perkins Rare Book Room at the Fisher Fine Arts LibraryWhat They Saw and How They Saw It used the Neatline plugin, so there is additional information on this exhibit builder as well. The different tabs across the top give you basics into using the platform and the various plugins, as well as examples of different exhibits that have been created. The final tab is a step by step break down my Omeka site. I've included screenshots, with additional information, which I hope will illustrate some of the problems I encountered and how I worked through them.
