Exploring Substances

If your results are too broad, you can further refine your search results using the filters on the left, similar to filtering references. There are some unique functions for the substance filters, however.
“Search Within Results” allows you to search for different substructures within the results, and you can either include or exclude results that match the substructure.
You can also filter by a range of different properties of the substance, including but not limited to:
- Reaction Role
- Reference Role
- Life Science Data
- Commercial Availability
- Molecular Weight
- Isotopes
- Various other properties of substances
