If you are looking for additional details about an event, we recommend reaching out to the events hosting institution. If you cannot identify the organization who is hosting an event please email, dentlib@pobox.upenn.edu and our staff will be able to give you that information.
When reaching out to us about specific events please try to be as specific as possible about the event to help ensure we can help you. Please include the full event title, date and time, and hosting institution if possible.
If you are interested in having events added from an organization you are not affiliated with, please email dentlib@pobox.upenn.edu links to every event you would like to see added. Our staff will look over the events to determine if they meet our criteria for inclusion, which is they must be digital, open to the public and free. If our staff determine they do meet our criteria we will reach out to the hosting institution(s) to determine if they are interested having these events listed.
If you are the speaker and you do not wish to have your video on this guide, we will happily take it down for you. Please reach out to dentlib@pobox.upenn.edu to explain your situation and our staff will work to assist you in taking the video down.
We can accept individual event submissions from organizations that do not regularly conduct CE events.
If your organization is regularly hosting events, we ask that you create and submit an RSS feed, because we do not have sufficient staffing to continuously update events from all institutions. We appreciate your help in allowing us to keep this resource running.
Certainly! Many organizations do not want all their CE events advertised for a variety of reasons and we are happy to accommodate. We will accept RSS feeds that meet our requirements even that RSS feed does not include all events the institution is hosting.
If you cannot find a direct link for signing up in the event description, we recommend attempting to locate the event on the hosting institutions page. Most events listings will have a link back to the hosting institutions webpage. If there is no direct link back to the event page, we recommend checking the institutions website for any event listings. If you cannot identify the institution that is hosting the event or you cannot locate the events page after searching the hosting institutions website, please reach out to our staff at dentlib@pobox.upenn.edu for assistance.
If the event has not already happened, please email dentlib@pobox.upenn.edu to let us know that the event is not public. We will take down the listing. If the event has already occurred than please let us know and we will remove the listing from our records.
If you are hosting a private event listed on the calendar, please let us know, and we will take it down for you. If you have found more than one private event listed on the calendar, please list all events that are posted erroneously and we will remove them.
Private events can be accidentally added for many reasons, the event may have been originally open to public before a decision was made to keep it private, there may have been a misunderstanding between staff either at the institution or among the staff maintaining the library, an event may have been accidentally included as part of a larger group of events. We apologize for the inconvenience.
