Several datasets available in WRDS address ESG scores and metrics, including:

And, WRDS has created their own Environmental Suite using data from the EPA's ECHO and RSEI programs, USGS National Hydrography program, and data from the Atmospheric Composition Analysis Group.

Using the Bloomberg terminals located in Lippincott Library's Yablon Financial Resources Lab, you can go directly to view a company's ESG-related data by typing their ticker, hitting the yellow Equity key, then typing FA ESG and hitting the green GO key.

You can also screen for a list of companies on ESG related metrics by using the EQS (Equity Screen) tool. Type EQS and hit the green GO key, then click on the Fields button and expand the menu for Fundamentals --> Bloomberg Fundamentals --> ESG.

ESGAUGE uses artificial intelligence to find and extract data from non-standardized, sometimes heavily text-based company ESG reports as well as pertinent SEC filings. You can also screen for companies based on unique sustainability and corporate governance metrics.
