This guide provides researchers with a title listing of all Middle East newspapers in the database, Library PrintDisplay (NewspaperDirect). (This database can be accessed by using the Franklin Search box to the left, or the "FindIt" search box above and to the right.) Current issues are displayed in the database. The full issue of a newspaper is available. Searching is by title or subject. A small back issue archive is maintained. Listing here is alphabetical by country, and then alphabetical by title within each country. You will not be able to search each title in Franklin, only in Library PrintDisplay (NewspaperDirect). Titles are given as they appear in the database. All newspapers are in Arabic, except where indicated: E=English, Tu=Turkish, Fa=Farsi, Ru=Russian, Fr=French. Hopefully, this guide will make it easier for researchers to find a specific newspaper.
