In collaboration with the Center for Public Health Initiatives, the Community Health & Engineering Librarian opened the Relaxation Room in the newly reopened Stemmler side of the Biomedical Library. The Relaxation Room is a quiet space intended for folks to take a break from studying and other stressful things. You are welcome to stretch on the yoga mats, do chair yoga, color, write positive thoughts, listen to soothing music, do a puzzle, squeeze a stress ball, and/or play with a fidget spinner! In addition, the Biomedical Library is partnering with the Fisher Fine Arts Library to do interdisciplinary exhibits and events geared towards wellness. In the meantime, please continue adding suggestions to the Relaxation Room Wish List.
Eric Krewson, a staff member at the Music Library, created this playlist. You are welcome to listen to it on your own device in the Biomedical Library Relaxation Room, while wearing headphones.
