Available via WRDS. Provides easily extractable financial data from balance sheets, income statements and statements of cash flows from 1950-present.
Available via Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) Security price, return, and volume data for the NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ stock markets. CRSP is a research center at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and maintains historical data spanning from December 1925 (monthly data--daily data from 1962) to the present.
Event studies measure security price changes in response to events such as merger and acquisition announcements. Eventus performs event studies using data drawn from the CRSP database (see above).
