Most databases index individual book chapters as well as entire books and journal articles. Franklin, the Penn Libraries catalog, includes tables of contents for many of the books included. During the pandemic, we have access to many in copyright books via the HathiTrust temporary access. You can use the tables of contents to request scans of chapters. Temporary access is noted in this guide--this will likely change once we are back in the libraries and able to work with the physical collections.
