The links to selected publishers listed below will take you to their Permissions pages, but if you have a particular article from which you'd like to get permissions to use excerpts, tables, figures, etc., a more efficient way is to find the article on the publisher's website, locate a link for copyright/reuse/permissions, and follow the steps required. Be aware that there may be a charge for permissions.  An example using the Journal of Pediatrics, a ScienceDirect/Elsevier title, is above; links for finding permissions will vary depending on the publisher or journal title.
