Scroll down to the Retail Trade section to browse through many retail business types. Industry reports include information on industry performance and outlook, products and markets covered, major companies operating in the sector, and key statistics and ratios.
Mintel Oxygen
Market research reports, focusing on the US and several European countries. Search by keyword or use the Category menu.
Standard & Poors Net Advantage
Industry surveys for the US and globally. Click on the Industries tab, then use the drop-down menus to find surveys. Titles of interest: Apparel and Footwear: Retailers and Brands, Multiline Retail (department stores, mass merchants), Specialty Retail (retailers specializing in a certain type of goods; for example, Home Depot or Best Buy)
Passport GMID
Scroll over Industries in the top toolbar to select Retailing. You'll find links to dashboards of data, ways to drill down deeper into the tree (e.g. Store-based Retailing or Non-store Retailing), and much more.
