Business is emphasized in its current News Pages for Italy group that includes Corriere della Sera, MF - Mercati Finanziari, ItaliaOggi, Il Giornale, and Milano Finanza. Historical searching of the hundreds of individual Italian publications rarely go back earlier than the last decade: Corriere della Sera (1997), La Repubblica (2005), and the magazine L´Espresso (2007).

Browsing the CRL catalog for newspapers from Italy shows over 140 titles with holdings dating back to the early 19th century. Since Penn is a CRL member, students and staff can request loans of microform.
