Health Science Teaching Faculty: Content Usage Guidelines

Penn Proxy Information

Some content we license only allows you to link to the resource rather than embed the content into your canvas course.  In order for these links to function well (even when students are off-campus) you will need to prepend the vendor's url with the prefix https://proxy.library.upenn.edu/login?url=

  • For example, here is a link to a licensed Acland Anatomy video: http://aclandanatomy.com/Multimedia.aspx?categoryid=39468
  • By adding the Penn Proxy url, you are assured that a student can access even if they are not on campus.  The Proxy URL will prompt the student to login using their PennKey and then send the student on to the Acland video: https://proxy.library.upenn.edu/login?url=http://aclandanatomy.com/Multimedia.aspx?categoryid=39468
