Students in David Comberg's and Cathy Turner's Walt Whitman & the People's Press class paved the way for printing around Philadelphia in the weeks surrounding Walt Whitman's birthday. Keep an eye out for a white van with rainbow text: "I celebrate myself, and sing myself." The team of students traveling with the van will set up an open air letterpress print shop, inviting anyone to pull their own printing, and giving away an array of colorful, creative prints featuring Whitman quotes.
