The R Penn Group (RPG) presented by the Research Data & Digital Scholarship team at Penn Libraries is an initiative that meets to discuss, learn, and collaborate on topics and projects related to statistics, mapping, data wrangling, visualization, and analysis with R programming language through hands-on problem-solving.
We meet on every 2nd Thursday of the month (Feb 2 | March 2. | April 13.) from 12PM-1PM at the Collaborative Classroom (Room 113, Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center) for open-ended exploration of the ways in which the R programming language can enhance our academic pursuits. We look forward to seeing you there! All skill levels are welcome.
The R Penn Group hosted at Penn Libraries will be held every second Thursday of the month at 12-1PM. We are looking for speakers who are excited about R and statistics to share a short presentation / lightning talk / demo / graphics made with or related to R. The idea of the session is to pique interest amongst the attendees. For example, one student will be presenting on making her research poster pretty with R using the posterdown library.
