Fisher Fine Arts Library Services

Inside Fisher Fine Arts Library            The Fisher Fine Arts Library supports study, teaching and research in contemporary and historical aspects of art, architecture, city and regional planning, fine arts, historic preservation, landscape architecture, and urban design. Our collection, along with the rest of the Penn Libraries' collections, can be searched through Franklin, our online catalog.


If you are interested in visiting Fisher or using its collections for your research, you may freely access the space, most weeks, Monday through Friday, from 9am to 6pm. You will need to check in with the security guard and provide a valid photo ID. For security purposes, the guard will take a photo of the visitor.

Please refer to our complete access policies for more information. Visitors will not be admitted to the Fisher Fine Arts Library during restricted access periods.


Fisher Rare Books and Special Collections

Need a book that is at the Fisher Fine Arts Library and designated as rare? Request in advance to view it by creating a Research Account for Special Collections.

Items in LIBRA

You may also request in advance items from the Penn Libraries' research annex, LIBRA. If you have a courtesy card, request items in advance via Franklin. For visitors, you may complete a form to request in advance items in LIBRA.
