How Do I Share Accurate Health Information with My Community and Family?

Nemours KidsHealth: Nemours is one of the largest pediatric health systems in the country. It's Kids Health website aim to give everyone the tools and confidence needed to make the best health choices.  This site includes doctor reviewed information and easy to read articles.

Health Books for Teachers and Parents: The Penn Libraries Community Engagement Department collaboratively developed this list of health-related books with staff from Philadelphia Public Schools and the West Philadelphia Alliance for Children (WEPAC).

Health Information and the Internet: Who Can You Trust?: This resource links to a curriculum source book from the Rivery Valley Health Communities Coalition, non-profit organization that promotes wellness in Maine. Its goal is to improve health information literacy skills
among youth and young adults and increase community access to reliable Internet-based health information for informed and empowered decision making. The curriculum includes three, one-hour lessons and an optional project-based learning activity.
Office of the U.S. Surgeon General: Confronting Misinformation: This website showcases resources including toolkit and shareable materials that you can use to discuss the issue of health misinformation with your loved ones.
