How can I visit the Dental Library? answer
Access to the Dental Library is limited to Penn Dental School affiliates on weekdays after 5:00 PM and on weekends, so you will need to obtain special permission to visit the library during these times. Non-dental Penn affiliates (faculty, students, staff) may use the library reading room.
Non-Dental School Affiliates - Non-Dental School affiliates who want to use the Dental Library should contact the library at 215-898-8969 or dentlib@pobox.upenn.edu for additional information. Requestors will need to state the reason for their visit.
Alumni Access - Alumni who wish to use the Dental Library on weekends or during other periods of restricted access need to apply for an Alumni PennCard. Please see our Alumni page for more information on how to access library databases and Alumni borrowing privileges.
You may use the reading room on the 2nd Floor of the Evans Building, but cannot book group study rooms or classrooms. The reading room is a quiet study space with limited seating, so we ask that you be respectful and quiet during your stay, and keep your personal items contained to your study area.
