Penn Libraries Community Engagement

Gina Pambianchi leads the Penn Libraries Community Engagement team with Rosalie Jacobsen. Community Engagement works with Philadelphia public schools and WePAC  to reopen and build West Philadelphia public school libraries and to provide resources for Philadelphia children and families. The Community Engagement team also provide adult literacy sessions. As of 2022, Community Engagement works closely with the Henry C. Lea School, the Morton McMichael School, and the Horace Furness High School. Community Engagement also works with WePAC to get integrated library systems to 21 schools across West Philadelphia in the Philadelphia School District.

See below for a sampling of some the resources that the Penn Libraries Community Engagement team is creating for Philadelphia children.
