Question: How can I browse books on the shelves when so many books are in different locations? (Fisher Fine arts, Van Pelt, Libra, etc).
Answer: Use the "Call Number Browse" feature in Franklin. As you can see from the image above, there is a drop-down menu in Franklin that allows you to select "Call Number Browse" as an option. Once you make that selection, you can copy the call number of a book you find particularly useful. The results that you will get will be a list of books that would appear on the shelf next to that book if all the libraries were combined into once space. This can be particularly useful when trying to find other books in a field that share the same subject matter (as is the nature of academic libraries).
