The enormous holdings of CRL (Center for Research Libraries) include microform archives of newspapers from all parts of the world. Browsing the CRL catalog for newspapers from Portugal shows 15 titles; there are 39 from Brazil with some holdings dating back to the 19th century. Since Penn is a CRL member, students and staff can request loans of microform.
