PRISMA is an evidence-based minimum set of items for reporting in systematic reviews and meta-analyses. PRISMA focuses on the reporting of reviews evaluating randomized trials, but can also be used as a basis for reporting systematic reviews of other types of research, particularly evaluations of interventions. There is a checklist as well as a Word version of the diagram that can be downloaded and used for your project.

Reporting guideline provided for: Observational studies in epidemiology (cohort, case-control studies, cross-sectional studies). Includes links to checklists for each included study type and to a checklist that combines them.
