You have a book that you think would be a great addition to the library! In order for students to check out the book we need to put a record of the book in the Destiny catalog. This is called cataloging.

A+ vs Red House

A+ is a title record that comes from another library catalog. When you add a copy to a A+ title record you are also copying the title record to the district catalog.

The Red House is a title record that is already in the district catalog. When you add a copy to a Red House record you are allowing for multiple copies under one title record which will make later search results and circulation reports more streamlined. After you add an A+ record a copy of that record with a Red House will appear in add title search results.

If the Red House record has incomplete data or just generally doesn't look like a good match, see if you can find a better A+ record to add instead. Otherwise go ahead and add a copy to the Red House record.
