Overview

Welcome to the Wharton MBA Business Research Overview guide. This brief introduction will familiarize you with the most frequently used resources available through the Lippincott Library. Lippincott is the library of the Wharton School, with a primary focus on business information. While you may not be spending much time at the physical library, the vast majority of our resources are available electronically from anywhere, including news sources like the Wall Street Journal, academic journals like Journal of Marketing, extensive financial data, market research and more.

Beginning Your Research

Begin your research on the Lippincott Library homepage:

  • Frequently used resources and information are listed at the bottom of the Databases tab.
  • Enter keywords in the Business FAQ search box to find resources that cover a particular topic (company profiles, company financials, etc.)
  • Use Research Guides to explore resources for different industries and geographic areas.
  • Find books, journals and other material in our Franklin catalog.

Appropriate Use

Library databases are licensed for academic use. They are commercial products that the library receives at educational rates.

Use them in support of your academic and coursework, but please do not use them for your work or business.

Please see Use Policy on "Penn Only" Electronic Resources for more details.
