Research Impact and Citation Analysis: Affiliation Searching

Scopus

Choose the Affliation Tab in Scopus

An affiliation search returns a list of affiliations with links to documents and to information about the affiliation (if available). Use the Affiliation search form to search the preferred name of an organization, the organization's city, or the organization's country.

You can also search for documents by affiliation.

To find researchers at Penn working on the same topic, try searching by Affiliation:  University of Pennsylvania and a relevant keyword.

The Scopus Affiliation Identifier distinguishes among affiliations that have similar names by assigning each affiliation in Scopus a unique number and grouping together all of the documents affiliated with an organization.

Web of Knowledge

Web of Knowledge  allows users to analyse the citation output of an institution, generating a number of metrics including: average citations per item, h-index, average citations per year, and citation totals for each year and each cited article over time.

Enter affiliation information into the address field.  (Inconsistencies are prevalent.)
