This guide will help you access and setup your BoardVitals quiz. You have access to test banks to help prepare for board exams for the USMLE Step 1, 2 and 3 and Shelf Exams for eight medical specialties. A separate instruction video is available for viewing.
First Time:
- If this is the first time, access BoardVitals using your browser. using BoardVitals, access using the link below. You will be prompted for your PennKey.
- You will need to register individually with BoardVitals in order for the system to save your quiz and track your progress. Click the blue register button and follow the directions provided:
 Use your University of Pennsylvania institutional email address for registration (@upenn.edu)- Click the register button and the system will send a validation email
- Check your e-mail and click on the validation link in the email for full access
