Once you have registered, you will be asked to select from a list of Question Banks.  You may select up to five. You can add/remove question banks later using the Question Bank pulldown menu in the gray bar at the top of the screen.  After selecting your desired question banks, click the "Go to Dashboard" button.

Ensure the desired Question Bank is selected in the grey menu bar and then click the blue New Custom Quiz button. You can now customize your quiz.

  • Quiz Mode - Select an quiz type.
    • Test Mode (Untimed or Timed) creates a test environment. Test answers and explanations will not display until the quiz has been completed.
    • Tutor/Study Mode offers an unlimited amount of time for you to answer questions. They also show the correct answer to the question once you have answered, and allows you to see the question explanation during the quiz.
  • Question Status - Choose the questions you see based on status: All, Unanswered, Incorrect, Unseen, or Marked.  You may also filter the questions offered using the "Keyword search filter" box.  The default tab is "Unanswered", which allows you to first look at what you haven't answered/tried.
  • Difficulty Level - All, Hard, Moderate, or Easy. You can select "All" to receive questions from any difficulty or choose just one, or a combination of difficulty levels.
  • Select Subjects - Check the boxes next to the topics you wish to cover on your quiz.  You can "Select All" or click "Clear" and then pick from the list. We suggest you consider the following topics: Anatomy, Behavioral Health, Biochemistry, Biology of Tissue Response to Disease, Biostatistics and Epidemiology, Endocrine System, Gastrointestinal System, Genetics, Immune System, Nervous System and Special Senses, Pathology, Physiology, Reproductive System
  • Number of Questions - select 10, 25, or customize the number of questions you designate for your quiz. Twenty questions is a good number to start with.  You can increase the number as you become more comfortable with the program.
  • Time - If you selected a Timed test above, you are given the option of setting the time to answer each question.  We suggest setting the time to between 80 and 90 seconds for each question.
  • Quiz Name - Choose a name for your quiz.  The quiz name will default to the original - question bank name and today's date.

Finally, click the blue Start Quiz button at the bottom of the screen!
