Downloading, unzipping, and opening files

Attending an upcoming workshop and need help downloading, unzipping, and opening files? Check out our guide for both Mac and Windows users.

Downloading, unzipping, and opening files

  1. Open the folder for the workshop  

  1. Click the Download button and choose the folder on your computer where you want to save the files.  

  2. Go to your files in the Finder and select CTRL + right-click to Open the folder. 

  3. Click on the folder with the same name as your zipped file. This is where the unzipped files will be. 

  1. Double-click any of the files to open them.

  1. Open the folder for the workshop 

  1. Click the Download button. Find the downloaded folder in the files on your computer.  

  2. Right-click on the downloaded folder. 

  3. Select Extract All.

  • Choose where you want files to be extracted to. Select Browse and choose a location in your files. 
  • Select Folder.
  • Select Extract.
  1. Go to the location where the files are. Double-click on files to open them.
