Dr. Yvonne Ophelia Jones

Dr. Yvonne Jones (PDM class of 1951), the first African American woman admitted to the national dental honorary society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, was appointed to the Springfield (Mass.) Medical Board. An honor graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Dental School, Dr. Jones is the daughter of Dr. William B. Jones Sr. Springfield's first African American dentist.
