A full-text (no images) online service that provides access to sources of national and international news, business, health and general information. Best for the Wall Street Journal, but good for many other news sources worldwide.

Newsbank Access World News
Like Factiva and LexisNexis, Newsbank offers searchable fulltext of international and U.S. newspapers. Covers current issues (i.e., yesterday in most cases) with extensive backfiles, going back as far as the 1970s, for English-language publications, such as the Financial Times and Le Monde Diplomatique.

Foreign Broadcast Information Service (FBIS) Daily Reports 1941 - 1996
An online version of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) dailies (Monday-Friday) that covered political, military and economic news for every part of the world in their translations of local newspapers and media broadcasts.
World News Connection
A less extensive successor to FBIS of English translations of non-U.S. media sources. Coverage runs from ca. 1995 to the end of 2013.
