Barcode Stickers: UPHS and CHOP employees who are not eligible for PennCards (used by Penn faculty, students, and staff for borrowing) may apply at the Biomedical Library Circulation Desk for a barcode sticker to be placed on their current institutional ID. Expiration Date: Barcode stickers expire 1 year from the date of activation. They must be renewed in person at the Biomedical Library Circulation Desk.

Loan Periods: All Libraries: 28 days. Patrons without a Penn ID may not borrow books from the Biddle Library.

Renewals: Patrons may renew books online in Franklin directly by selecting the "My Account" button in Franklin. For details visit: Renew your own books online!.

Fines: There are no fines for overdue books at the Biomedical Library except for overdue interlibrary loan items. However, there are fines for non-returned and lost items, as well as processing fees that may be assessed.
