Community Health Engagement: 2022 Virtual Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia Grant Funder Research-a-thon

About the Event

Instructions

Help the Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia (AVP) find funding to expand the number of Philadelphians they can serve using your online research skills! With the dramatic increase in gun violence in Philadelphia, demand has increased for AVP’s free individual and group therapy, victim/witness services and school-based violence prevention programs for Philadelphians affected by violence--but government funding is restricted and limited. AVP will provide potential funder websites and ask volunteers to determine whether the funder’s guidelines indicate a good match for AVP’s programs.

Looking for funding for your organization?

Has this Research-a-thon inspired you to conduct grant funder-related for other nonprofit organizations you're involved with? Check out the following guides that list databases that can help you identify potential grant funders, so you can develop a preliminary spreadsheet like Steve's.
