Help the Anti-Violence Partnership of Philadelphia (AVP) find funding to expand the number of Philadelphians they can serve using your online research skills! With the dramatic increase in gun violence in Philadelphia, demand has increased for AVP’s free individual and group therapy, victim/witness services and school-based violence prevention programs for Philadelphians affected by violence--but government funding is restricted and limited. AVP will provide potential funder websites and ask volunteers to determine whether the funder’s guidelines indicate a good match for AVP’s programs.
During the event, Steve Bacher, the Director of Development at AVP, will share additional information about AVP and the Google Sheet that these slides refer to.
