Exhibitions at Penn Libraries

Committee and Charge

The Exhibits Committee reviews and selects exhibition proposals for the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center, which includes the Goldstein Gallery, Kamin Gallery, and Snyder-Grenader Alcove. The committee also evaluates proposals for the Departmental Libraries as well as online exhibits. When necessary, the committee helps individuals craft their proposals, provide useful feedback, and guide projects into the workflow.

Additionally, the committee approves the exhibit schedule as provided by the Director of Exhibits.

The committee does not oversee loans or pop-up events. For those who wish to pursue these must consult guidelines listed on the Exhibitions at Penn Libraries confluence page, or contact the Director of Exhibits or Margy E. Meyerson Head of Conservation for more information.
