Refining Your Results
On the left, you can further filter your results by a number of different categories.
You can filter to both "Filter By" or "Exclude" results, depending on your selection at the top of the box.
Filters include Search Within Results, Document Type, Language, Publication Year, Author, Organization, Publication Name, Concept, CA Section, and Database.
Consider the filter "Search Within Results." Using this, you can include or exclude certain text strings that may be in a result. For instance, you could exclude results that include the text string "traditional medicine." For example, you could include results that have "group A β-hemolytic Streptococcal" in the reference.
You could also filter out the string "Toxic Shock Syndrome" if that is not applicable to your results.
Note: Try not to overuse the Search Within Results function, as it identifies any use of the phrase in passing, so it could unintentionally filter results you want if you overuse it.
