You will report your hours worked weekly online in our Workday payroll system. Your supervisors will show you how to use this system.
You must submit your timesheet by Sunday evening at 9:00pm, though we recommend submitting your hours by Thursday evening of the week worked. Your supervisor only has a one hour window early on Monday morning to approve remaining timesheets before the window to approve closes, which doesn’t give much time to communicate and fix timesheet errors. Remember: no timesheet, no pay! Anda late timesheet means a week delay in pay.
Your pay will be deposited to your bank account each Friday.
Never add time to your timesheet that you did not actually work. Misreporting time is considered immediate grounds for termination.
Note: There is a University-wide rule that, if you work more than 5 consecutive hours, you need to take an unpaid 30 min break. This 30 min break must be recorded (left as a blank space between worked time blocks) when you fill out your timesheet.
Late timesheets:
Please be sure to record hours worked in the correct date and time ranges, even if the deadline has passed. HR requires accurate timekeeping for their records. You can enter worked time in past date ranges by going Time > Enter Time > Select Week in Workday.
The timesheet submission period ends around 10am on the Monday following the worked hours. The payroll process then runs until 12pm Wednesday—you will be unable to submit or edit timesheets during this interval of time (Mon 10am-Weds 12pm). If you forget to submit on time, please wait until after 12pm Wednesday to submit your late timesheet.
