Criteria will differ based on the institute and the parent grant, but successful applications all accomplish the following:
- Highlights the qualifications of the applicant
- Rigorous and coherent research plan and timeline of supplement’s activities
- Fosters capabilities, knowledge, and skills of the applicant
- Activities of the proposed supplement are integral to the parent project
- Strong evidence of mentoring experience and success from the proposed mentoring team and parent grant PI
- Strong evidence that applicant will receive quality mentoring during the supplement
