ScholarlyCommons

No account is required to use ScholarlyCommons.  All users are able to search and download files, however, if you are affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania, you may create an account that will allow you to take advantage of additional benefits.  

If you wish to submit your work to ScholarlyCommons or have been designated as a reviewer for one of the Penn Collections, you must create an account in order to access these features.  

Please note that ScholarlyCommons requires PennKey authentication in order to create an account. If you do not have a working Pennkey, you can find information about obtaining an Pennkey at https://pennkeysupport.upenn.edu/.  

Instructions

1. Go to the ScholarlyCommons website (https://repository.upenn.edu/home). 
2. Click on the “Log in” link on the top right corner of any ScholarlyCommons webpage. 
3. Use your Pennkey username and password to authenticate.
4. You should see an end user agreement page.  Please review and check the box to confirm your agreement.  
5. You will be directed to the home page and will be logged in.  You can verify this by clicking on the profile icon on the top right of the page.  If you are logged in, your name and email address will be displayed.  This indicates that an account has been automatically created for you.
