Self-service scancenters: How to Scan
To scan to USB:
Touch the screen where it says, “
Touch here to begin
”
On the Select a Destination screen, Touch the part of the screen that says, “
USB
”
Insert your USB drive
Wait for the USB drive to be detected
Select scan options, e.g. Color, black and white, PDF, Word
When ready, touch the “
NEXT
” button
Place your paper/book material onto the glass of the flatbed scanner
Touch the
SCAN
button on the screen
You could view and edit scan, and crop the scanned content
For multiple pages, touch the “
SCAN
” button
When done, touch
NEXT
On the “Transfer Documents to USB Storage” screen, ensure your USB storage device is showing.
Name
the file
Touch “
NEXT
”
When done, remove your USB drive
If not done, choose, “
Scan More Documents
” and repeat starting at step 7, otherwise, touch “
I’m Done
”
To Scan to Email:
Touch the screen where it says, “
Touch here to begin
”
On the Select a Destination screen, Touch the part of the screen that says, “
EMAIL
”
Select scan options, e.g. Color, black and white, PDF, Word
When ready, touch the “
NEXT
” button
Place your paper/book material onto the glass of the flatbed scanner
Touch the
SCAN
button on the screen
You could view and edit scan, and crop the scanned content
For multiple pages, touch the “
SCAN
” button
When done, touch
NEXT
On the “Transfer Documents to Email” screen,
enter the recipient’s email address
Tab down to enter the subject, and enter a short message (if necessary)
Touch “
NEXT
”
If not done, choose, “
Scan More Documents
” and repeat starting at step 5, otherwise, touch “
I’m Done
”
